Job Description

In this role you will:

 

  • Provide outstanding support to the sales team for advanced imaging system sales

  • Support the delivery of sales budgets and targets, maximising sales performance

  • Ensure initial and ongoing customer training requirements are understood and delivered to a high standard

  • Participate in and provide input into tender response decision meetings

  • Set-up optical configurations and screen layouts as part of the system installation process

  • Represent the company at key external events, including seminars, workshops and exhibitions as and when required to build and maintain the company's profile within the microscopy and scientific community

 

We are looking for people who have:

 

  • MSc or PhD in Biosciences/Biophysics or related subject

  • Understanding of laboratory environment, microscopy industry & live-cell imaging biological applications

  • At least 2-3 years’ experience working with advanced light microscopy systems, e.g. confocal, super-resolution, high content and multiphoton systems

  • Demonstrable experience in providing technical support for advanced light microscopy systems would be desirable but not essential

  • Excellent interpersonal skills & ability to build rapport and influence and engage at all levels of business

  • Able to travel frequently to critical accounts as requested

  • Current UK driving licence is essential       

Benefits: 

  • £35,000 - £45,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)

  • £10k bonus

  • Subsistence allowance of £1,260 per annum
