How you will make an Impact:
As a Sales Account Manager, you will sell best-in-class products supporting gene discovery, regulation, and function. You will take ownership of a high-value Oxford and Midlands territory. This opportunity will utilise your Molecular or Cell Biology laboratory and commercial experience.
In this role, you will:
- Manage a very lucrative Oxford and Midlands Territory
- Collaborate with product managers to develop strategies for product expansion
- Present new and existing products to current and potential customers
- Collaborate with regional sales managers, product managers and R&D to offer presentations, product demonstrations and on-site customer visits
- Provide market and competitive information and guidance to project managers
- Maintain knowledge of state-of-the-art scientific principles, theories, and the practical methods used in research laboratories
- Attend exhibitions and seminars
We are looking for people who have:
- Minimum one-year successful sales experience at a life science company
- Minimum MSc/PhD, in Cell, Molecular Biology or related life science discipline
- 2+ years lab bench experience in Cell, Molecular Biology, or related discipline
- Knowledge/experience of selling NGS products would be desirable
- Academic and biotech/pharma customer network in Oxford and Midlands would be a vital asset
- Commercially astute Post-Doctoral researchers will be considered
- Full clean driving licence
- MUST live within 1 hour of Oxford
Benefits:
- Up to £50,000 basic salary
