Join our client team of Field Application Scientists in the Paris Region and embark on an exciting journey that will allow you to utilise your skills and passion for science.

The Role

Joining the Service and Support team means becoming an integral part of a group that collaborates closely with Sales, Product Management, and R&D. Your role would be to provide unwavering support to customers from beginning to end. This includes gaining a comprehensive understanding of their application requirements, providing thorough training sessions, as well as guiding them through testing procedures. You will have both virtual and in-person interactions with clients- initially serving Swiss and French markets before expanding your reach across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support customers during the evaluation and implementation process.

  • Assist and support our customers with application issues and questions.

  • Install instruments at customer sites.

  • Provide and lead training of end-users.

  • Develop solid relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide personalised product/scientific presentations.

  • Support existing customers with additional training and application assistance as needed.

  • Lead product demonstrations and presentations that show potential and existing customers the power and utility of each product and how it relates to their research.

  • Provide feedback from customers and act as the customer advocate.

  • Work cross-functionally with sales and service to support the implementation process.

  • Proactively provide enhancements and feedback for development and optimization of applications, software, and hardware.

  • Document site activities through CRM (SalesForce).

  • Customer complaint handling and customer interactions to ensure total customer satisfaction.

  • Assist with or write documentation to enhance application and technical bulletins, user guides, procedures and technical manuals involving software or applications.

We are looking for people who have:

  • MSc or PhD in Biology, Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology, Chemical Engineering, or any field related to water processes.

  • Ideally 1-2 years of industry experience in water treatment or monitoring. Experience facing customers is preferred. Recent graduates will be considered with a relevant degree.

  • Strong organisation, with the ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Excellent written and verbal English and French skills. Additional EU language is appreciated.

  • Very good listening, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Willingness to travel for work (up to 80%) and able to optimise journey.

  • Adaptable to rapidly changing situations.

  • Comfortable working as part of a team and as an individual.
