The Role

With this role, you will be accountable for creating connections, devising effective plans and collaborating with meaningful opportunities across this lucrative Northern territory. Embrace this opportunity to showcase your skills while interacting with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the UK North territory (Birmingham North, including Scotland and Ireland).

  • Selling water diagnostics products to private labs, hospitals, and utility companies.

  • Consulting with customers and key decision-makers on technology and product choices.

  • Working closely with new and existing customers to understand their needs and identifying new business opportunities.

  • Networking building new contact with different levels of stakeholders

  • Meeting sales and revenue targets.

  • Building plans and strategies to meet targets, including forecasting, budgeting, and marketing strategy.

  • Carrying out infield training, technical support, and kit demos.

We are looking for people who have:

  • Minimum 2 years of successful sales experience (water testing background is a bonus).

  • Proven track record in territory management and meeting sales targets.

  • Experience in life sciences, preferably in the field of microbiology.

  • Exceptional networking skills – ability to communicate with customers at all levels from lab to management.

  • Ability to travel–expected 70% travel.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.


  • Up to £60,000 basic salary (depending on experience).

  • £20,000 commission scheme (quarterly) plus annual bonus of £3,000.

  • Remote – ideally located in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Edinburgh or Glasgow.

  • Company car.

  • 10% Pension.
