An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Communications Manager to be part of this fast-growing, successful global leader in IVF and reproductive genetics based in Falmouth, Cornwall.

 

How you will make an Impact:

You will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic communication plan for genomic services, enhancing the company's reputation as an industry leader.

In this role, you will:

  • Project manage the planning, development and implementation of promotional campaigns.

  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and meet KPIs.

  • Identify opportunities and develop assets such as podcasts, webinars, case studies, film scripts, blog content, digital content.

  • Project manage and drive legal/regulatory/scientific review process for Genomics materials.

  • In collaboration with the Professional Education Team and internal/external stakeholders, project manage and help to drive worldwide scientific and educational events. 

  • Promote and capitalise the scientific activities of the Genomics Scientific Team including the coordination of the design of scientific posters, abstracts, and promotion of scientific content.

  • Review scientific and educational events and create content in collaboration with Professional Education, Marketing and other departments.

  • Work closely, when appropriate, with patient advocacy groups to help coordinate partnership and manage sponsorship opportunities.

  • Independently monitor industry and competitor publications globally, providing input into the direction of the marketing calendar and content strategy.

  • Edit, repurpose and regionalize existing content for new audiences and distribution channels.

  • Work and coordinate stakeholders from multiple internal departments and external KOLs / customers.

We are looking for people who have:

  • Science degree or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.

  • Hands-on experience from a similar position in an international company.

  • Ability to translate scientific information for a range of audiences.

  • Experience in substantiating scientific claims using peer reviewed studies.

  • Background in marketing & project management.

  • Highly organised multi-tasker who is systematic and methodical.

  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present.

  • Strong IT Skills, Microsoft Office, including advanced Word and PowerPoint and Excel essential.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines.

  • Digital and social media experience.

  • MUST be based within a commutable distance of Falmouth, Cornwall. 

Benefits: 

  • £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
