We seek a dedicated On-Site Customer Support Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with commercial, government, academic, and healthcare customers while delivering a broad portfolio of analytical solutions and services.

 

How you will make an Impact:

As a On-Site Customer Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in the company’s after-sales service strategy. Working closely with your manager and colleagues, you will be responsible for optimising customer visits while adhering to company guidelines. Your objective will be to ensure the company’s presence at client site, contribute to revenue growth, and enhance the reputation in the field.

 

In this role you will:

  • Maintain, qualify, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments in accordance with contractual commitments.

  • Provide guidance and training to users as needed.

  • Establish regular communication with clients.

  • Follow existing intervention procedures and contribute to the development of new ones.

  • Actively contribute to customer satisfaction and the success of service contracts.

  • Generate regular activity reports using provided tools.

  • Ensure a safe and organised workplace and maintain files in order.

  • Adhere to safety instructions and report anomalies related to environment and safety.

  • Uphold all quality system procedures and actively contribute to their improvement.

  • Collaborate with the quality department to monitor and maintain the quality system within your department.

 

We are looking for people who have:

  • A degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or electronics.

  • Experience and/or knowledge of laboratory techniques, including but not limited to HPLC, UPLC, GC, Mass Spectrometry.

  • Previous service engineering experience in a medical, pharmaceutical, or hospital environment would be advantageous.  

  • Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.).

  • Autonomous, well-organised, rigorous, with excellent communication skills and a strong team spirit.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional level of English.

  • Ability to multitask and a desire to learn and explore new techniques and products.

  • Must be based in the Paris region. 

 

Benefits: 

  • Base Pay Range: 50,000 - 55,000 EUR.
  • 17% of incentive.
  • Company vehicle provided.
  • 25 vacation days.
  • 14 days of rest days.
